A Story Of Murder

Kidnapping and cool headed murder of under age girl shocked north goa last week. I do not know personely the victim but i will still write. The system followed by the murderer for daylight kidnapping of the girl and in front of law protectors cpr van is really thinkable. On one side kidnapper is saying the victim is Psycho and law protectors are accepting the same. They do not know the difference between behavior of normal and psychic person ? The victim was begging for her release from aunt and all spectators standing there were thinking that she was psychic? Are we responsible for playing role in this play of safe revenge, kidnapping and murder? Every one will say 'NO', after all its not our matter. The law will give punishment to the murderer in future that will come to know but presently victims family have lost their dreams and blossom of life. Society has lost one future builder.

It was a busy week with waiting rain for goenkars. At last he arrived but not in its toofani mood. So friends its saturday today and plans of trying some fresh chicken dishes in kitchen. A treasure of seafood is not available uptill 15th jul ,so will have U turn towards chicken delicacy. Though fresh poultry is costing 100 bucks per kg but it will not make big cut to pocket.

Today at my lifes kitchen I will try indo chineese chilli chicken. After long research at Sanjay thumma's vahrevah.com and sanjay kapoors . I have prepared for nice saturday with help of this two. So guys have a nice week end to you all Enjoy Monsoon of Goa.

A Hour At Goan Bus Stand

"Panaji Direct Direct" this dialogue can be shouted in unlimited different styles at Mapusa city KTC bus stand. There are so many private bus operators plying on Mapusa Panaji route on daily basis. Each bus is controlled by one driver and one conductor cum cleaner. Today I was at Mapusa Bus stand in evening for sending my parcel of medicnes to my native village . The concerned bus was late so i enjoyed one hour being there. You know these poor guys are very faithful can act as a courier source for sending parcel. Give them a note of 10 or 20 , they surely delivered your parcel to respected place. From every corner of the bus terminus you can hear sounds like ponje ponje, khorli khorli, dodamarg, sankhale, bichole in different styles. You will find different types and models of buses are taking reverse and forward directions to their destinations. You will get a taste of co operation , faith and reliability and exchange of bad words as tadka here. Small exchange of bad words are necessary for this business. Otherwise there is possibility of other bus operator might steal your time of getting passengers. This little quarrels are for time being , next time you will find deep friendship. You will find blooming love here also with touch of love brakes , departure of love ones saying call me ,send mail. At one corner you can find paid love for time being, a smell of pakoras, batata wada of canteen. A group of beggars can disturb you . A chirimiri collecting Khaki is also visible here. After all they are the governing controls of this system. At the end my desired bus came I paid some 20 bucks for delivery of my parcel to conductor for assurance of delivery and I walked down to parking lot with some splashes of nice black brown mud on my trouser.

Rain And Goenkars

Though Monsoon is not picking up its mood of showering loads of water here at goa, Goenkars are in party mood todays with some onion pakoras and hot tea.

Last week whole goa enjoyed sao jao alias sanjao festival with little fenni and sweet sannas. Now its time for some rock crabs and sweet water fish like paalu and shevtaale. The amot tickh of fish like Thigurs is rare now as they are not available easily. Garam masala curry of crabs with hot brown rice gives water to my tongue and why not every one at goa will love to have it. Another mouth watering dish of rainy days is plain curry( Sovrak) with rice and dry mac rel fish fried in coconut oil or with macrel kismur ( Bangadyachi Kismur). Rather I will suggest that every coming to goa must enjoy these dishes once in life. If god says to me why you like another birth as a human being I will answer for being a goenkar and for eating Macrel Kismur. Really thanks to our veteran goenkars for this awesome monsoon dish.

Its true after having look at TV ad that a mango fan is begging for a fruit from his mango tree, meanwhile his son brings him famous mango drink and sudden twist in story that man turns to be a mango drink lover.

The same condition will be of all fellow mango lovers in coming years. The crop being less and cost of single fruit is out of reach of common people. I just had a survey of Mapusa fruit market. The number of mango fruits is less available. The price vary from Rs 650 to Rs 350 per dozen. With tense mind and having big cut to my pocket, I purchased half dozen small potato shaped fruits for 100 Rs. The famous 'AAMLECHE SAANSAV'( mango raita) dish from goa is also turns to unaffordable . The small mangoes required for this dish are about 90-100Rs per dozen.

Dear friends what I mean to say that after another 10-15days the mango season will over and for about 60% goemkars to taste the king of fruit will be a nightmare. Further I will like to add 'If initiative steps to increase the mango crop in future is not taken then the TV ad will be like this , holding a flavoured mango drink bottle in hand a teacher is showing a picture catalogue to students and says "this is dinosaur which vanished few thousand years back and this is mango which is vanished some 10-20years back."

पत्रादेवी ते पोळे महामार्ग आता फोर लेन होणार हे नक्कीच, पण कधी । त्या मुळे होणारे अपघात थांबतील का । की सुसाट वेगाची नशा अनेकांचे प्राण घेइल । ही माझया मनाची शंका। मी पण एक प्रवासी याच रस्त्याचा । पण मला नेहमीच वाटते माझा मनावर कंट्रोल आहे , पण समोरचा चुकला तर मग आली पंचाइत।एक तर हॉस्पिटल नाहीतर ढगात। मागच्या पंधरा दिवसातली घटना सकाळी ऑफिस ला येताना समोर अपघात झालेला, बॉडी रस्त्यावर रक्ताच्या थारोळयात पडलेली। मनात अनेक विचार " कोण असेल तो? मित्राने सांगितले "अरे तो क्रोसींग कड़े असणारा वेडा तो चिरड़ला।" कामाच्या लोड मध्ये या गोष्टीचा विसर पडला । संध्याकाळी वापस घरी जाताना समोर तेच रक्ताचे थारोळे किंचित सुकलेले पण बॉडी नेलेली । परत मनात विचार अणि रूम वर आगमन । चेहरा पडलेला पाहून बायको ने चौकशी केली आणि माझया कडून रिपोर्ट घेतला । वर तीचं उत्तर " सुटला बिचारा या जगातून । तुम्ही टेंशन घेऊ नका उद्दया आपली गाडी धुवून घ्या , चाकाना रक्त लागलं असेल । परत मी विचारात "अरे आपण च याला जबाबदार कारण आपला कुणी असला तर हळहळ आणि दुःख जर बेवारस असला तर दुर्लक्ष।

After enjoying burning heat of may and goan mangoes, goan's are ready to welcome monsoon days. It seems the concert of rain delayed due to environmental changes. Fragrance of soil will be available little late but we are prepared for next five months. Every goenkar had made "Purumed"( Stock of essential commodities for rainy season). Jars of dry red chillies , dry fish are ready in store rooms of every goan houses. As fresh fish catch disappears from market this stocked dry fish playes vital role in goan rice thali. Smell of dry fish with coconut oil can enlight fire of every goan stomach at any time. I just love a dish made from dry macrels known as " Bangadyachi Kismur" with chappatis. My wife is expert in making this dish. Last month we four friends specially visited Karwar for this dry macrels. As Karwar is well known for this dry fish market, you will find variety of dry fish here. Dried squid fish pieces are surprise product in karwar market. They just looks like potato chips. Another dry fish delecasy is dry prawn curry and kismur. In other words a plain white boiled rice, a dried prawns curry with macrel's kismur are main course of goan dinning table during rainy days.

Mango Mood

As mercury readings are about 42 degree in Goa. People needs some extra cash to fulfill thirst in end of April. Recently ended loksabha elections and closed down of wine shop's due to elections made heavy cuts to the pockets of beer loving Goans. Thanks to Hurrack season (Jungle juice) but it seems that cashew crop is also drying up early this year , which will lead to hike in Fenny( Goan Cashew Liquor) rates. In mapusa market we just dared to inquire about rates of Goan famous mango "Mankurad". This years average mango crop is affected and cost of mango is just high as everest peak. A good quality mankurad mango which was about 250Rs per dozen in past , now cost about 650Rs per dozen. You just cannot think to bargain for the price to local sellers, they in turn will reply " TUKA ZAI TAR GHE?". Thanks to pen hearted goan policy does not care about the cost. There is some stock of mangoes from out side the state,but any one who tasted Mankurad in past will not prefer another type of mango.Words will not be enough to explain its sweetness , Goan Mankurad has got its own taste and ability to make place in heart of mango lovers. Rapid changes in climate is now affecting these seasonal goodies and will be history in future,if strict measures are not taken. Other fruits like Jamuns, Kaanta and Churna are also on the way of of being past as a result of growing modernization. It is sure that the time will come like dinosaurs these fruits will be shown in books and teacher will explain details to students " Student this is mango and it was the seasonal fruit grown during ancient time.

It was the 12.00 pm of December 1997 and i was among the crowd waiting for bus for industrial estate at cuncolim bus stop. Just passed out my graduation from science in october 1997
,there was interview call at one chemical factory scheduled at 12.30 pm. Holding certificates file in left hand i just checked my shirts pocket , O god there were only 7 Rs in my pocket. Now lacks of flashes started in front of my eyes and clouds of thoughts started gathering in mind. How to reach for life's first interview and then back to home. My residence was about 100 kms from cuncolim. With depressed mind , a conclusion was made to attend interview first and then make walk up to home. Time was running , now it was 12.20 in my watch and a person arrived there on a scooter. He was my fathers student in 70's and was working some where in mapusa. His scooter passed in front of me and i made helpless smile. Scooter travelled some distance and turned back. He stopped and asked me " Hey your face is little familiar to me , are you bandekar sir's son?" . And from here on wards things moved like a bollywood styled movie. On the way to interview place i told him the whole story that how i forgot the cash given by father at home and now running out of cash. Bhanudas helped to reach interview site , given me food at restaurant ; dropped me at margao bus stand and even placed some rupees in my empty pocket. On the way to margao i asked him about his job at mapusa. In turn Bhanudas replied that he is now employed in electricity department and transferred to margao a week ago. After a weeks time i joined my new job and my industry carrier started shaping. He was real angel i ever met in my life at that time.

This spot is located at village Nadora. This fresh water spring gives sweet water through out the year. It is believed that Pandavas stayed here for a night, when they facing vanvaas. Ancient caves like marks are here on a big rock. For the villagers this spring was the main source for fresh water during the past, as now tap water is entered in to houses. As we human beings are playing with nature,the mining started at near by villages, its now resulted this fresh water spring to bit slowed down. Beautifully surrounded by greenery ,this spot makes place in heart of visitors.

River Princess -Current disaster for goan beach line

It has been almost nine years now this ill fated ship lies near candolim beach. Initially it was the centre of attraction for tourists, shooting location for cinema people and now it is a proven systematic disaster for 110 metre beach line. As per the phenomenon of soil errosion sea has occupied large area of beach and now we are shacked to awake. In this nine years lot of political battle was played on River Princess issue and results seems to be zero . Speeches were given all over goan lands by these leaders both from ruling side as well as from opposition but but River Princess remained firm on the same spot.
Its now peoples duty to take firm action on this issue. Some months back road blocks and agitations were made by residents of saipem and candolim people. Goenkar must remove the label of politeness,sushegad style and must support the residents of candolim area. State awakening is required to fight against this iron wreckage removal. Otherwise one day the golden sands of beaches will be dream for us and unwanted visitors like river princess will be every where.

One day at a shop a poor labour with his small daughter came to buy . His daughter demanded for candies displayed on the counter. But he purchased one sachet of Gutkha and falsely promised his daughter that he will buy candies later.This is the situation of today. Gutkha is now household product from rich to poor. One can easily get this slow poison on stores despite of F.D.A ban. I asked one of my friend about the habbit of eating Gutkha, in return he replied "Exactly I cannot tell why i am eating this but its now habitual, I cannot live without it". Some years back i lost my uncle because of this poison. He started eating gutkha just to get relief for a fun and ended with oral cancer death. When I see people with gutkha, I always remember's by uncle and his painful death.We really needs to change this situation, putting ban on tobacco products or awarness is not working up to the mark. We need force with midas touch to change the minds of tobacco lovers.

If you are not completing my demands " I will commit suicide" this type of dialogues are common among the families now a days. Similar type of scenario was assembled by three teenage friends from mumbai in goa. Trio is from upper middle class, who resides at Andheri's lokhandwala complex.They left suicide note at their respective homes and ran away to Goa, keeping the families in tense mood. Cops traced their mobile numbers at goa and the trio is now in goa police custody. Aim was just to pressurize the parents by doing such foolish attempt.
The question is why such things happens, why young people are attempting such fast way to death. Extreme care by parents might be responsible for such cases. A father who works for unlimited hours and mother who gives births to such guys after difficult pregnancy of nine months, should made responsible. Because the child's are just like a ball of mud, parents have to shape this ball.
In goa suicide case are on increasing note. One can easily find suicide news on every alternate day. These are the results of intensity to live fast life, easy money, costly vehicles and handsets.If parents refuse to full fill such needs then they are pressurized by playing such dramas.
I remembers one such case from Banda some 12 years back , a kid from six standard committed suicide on refusing permission to go for local mela from his parents.Youth's like shravan baal and chilaya from mytholgy are just dreams of today's lifestyle.If their stories are narrated, then fun will be made by today's young guns. We need another lord krishna in todays modern life to change our minds by narrating Gita.

If the STOP order been delayed for another 3 seconds or if the pilot had not kept his mind cool and not braked immediately, IC-866 would have crashed into MI-17 helicopter yesterday on 9.17 at ATC Mumbai.This is not a scene from any hollywood masala movie. A real life action packed event have faced by Capt. S.S Kohli yesterday at mumbai airport. We Indians salute you for saving lives of 148 passengers on board.

Sawantwadi my dream place, Where I completed my graduation and planned about my carrier in pharma line. This town has special place in my heart. A beautiful Moti lake located in heart of city where we friends enjoyed cup of tea and onion pakodas.The words will be short to write about this gifted place. Tourists will find unlimited hours to enjoy in shilpagram, Narendra hill, vithal Mandir and muncipal garden. In last two post i have written about local deitys which protects borders of the villages. Similar type of deity is located in Sawantwadi. As you complete your visit of the town and shopping at famous chitar aali( wooden articles) then move towards this place. Just two kms drive from S.T bus stand on Belgaum road this place beautifully developed by muncipality. The local deity is known as Shree Uparalkar Devasthan.
Your picnic mood will turn in to devotional on arrival. You will bend with respect in front of tall idol of God Uparlkar and will automatically fall in love of the surroundings. Tall idol of Upaparalkar is eye catching. It is believed that the deity protects sawantwadi borders and guides way to people.

This is what they deserves in return for serving humans for decades. A current scene is from Banda(Maharahtra) where the expansion work of NH 17 is going on full swing.
These are the remains of the trees, where the residents of Banda including me shared their evening life. Sitting on railing of this bridge, me, Amit and Dinesh discussed about future plans, now is on modification. A nature's beauty on Banda, Insuli border is disappeared and will take years to rebuild after new plantation.
One question always gathers in mind why we are giving deaths to these friends for modernization ?

Yesterday I wrote about Jaiteer Devasthan of Ugvem,Amere Goa. Similar type of holy place is situated at Insuli, Sawantwadi(Maharashtra)on NH17.This sacred place comes in eye catch after driving on zig zag roads, and reaching on top of Insuli Ghat . Naturally united seven jaamun trees famously known as Saat Jambhali Devasthan.It is believed that borders of Insuli and mazgaon village are protected by this holy devine. Bus operators, truckers and travellers offers pooja everyday by offering flowers or coconuts. A gang of monkeys always stay ready for your welcome and they expects some fresh fruit treat in return.A small picnic like hiking can be arranged here in nearby woods. I am not familier with the history of this place , it is said that movement of wild animals like tigers can easily be observed in late nights.

Three killed in Truck Car Accident at Torsem

Opening of 2009 is not going good for goan roads. Three youth's of Usmanabad Maharashtra lost their lives at Torsem Goa in an accident yesterday afternoon. Indica car(Reg. No: MH-25,R-2154) in which three were travelling was dashed head on collision with tipper truck(Reg.No: GA-03,T-4240) in front of government high school Torsem. Truck then rammed into road side trees. Two from the occupants of car named Nitin Sathe(28) and Santosh Suryavanshi(27) were killed on the spot and third one named Chetan Mandelkar(25) breathed last on way to hospital.With the help of fire personnel of Pernem ,police removed bodies from the ill fated car. Truck driver named Kumar Rathore who fled from the scene after accident is being searched by police.The bodies are preserved at GMC morgue and will be handed over to relatives after postmortem. The case is under investigation of Pernem Police Station.

There was no hearse van available to shift the deceased bodies. Pernem Municipality has one hearse van which is beyond repair, this thing was major highlight of the incident. The bodies of the deceased were lying for nearly one and half hour at the scene.

Sanjay Gandhi never seen his dream cars running on indian roads as he passed away in tragic air crash in mid of 1980.Now in todays date Maruti is no 1 in india. I first met maruti was the van somewhere in 1987 at banda(Maharashtra). This was only one maroon coloured van running in that area which owned by Mr.Pawaskar(Cashew Merchant).Being fan of Maruti during my kids days now I owns maruti 800 car with proud feeling of being member of Maruti family.

After Mumbai Terror attacks ,tourist season in Goa is badly affected. Foreign tourists are avoiding to visit India. Tourist season in goa opens at end of September and soon hotels shows the boards of booking full every year. But this year is hard for these hotels to get customers . Star Hotels have already slashed their rates to 75%. On new year event whole Goa goes full of foreigners and local tourists. Business gains its peak level on eve of new year for local shopkeepers like wine marts, restaurants. But Mumbai attacks are seems to be washout for goan shopkeepers.

Taxi business is fully related to Tourist is badly affected. You will find taxi owners waiting for customers on Goan stands. It is difficult to get a single customer throughout the day to meet daily expences. Majority of youths have accepted taxi as business. They have purchased the high end vehicles such as Toyota Innova's from banks. The monthly instalment of the bank comes around 15000 for these top end vehicles. If there is no business then how to pay such a huge instalment is now a big question in taxi owners minds. Government supporting hand is required to these taxi owners for saving of their business.

Tourism ministry should give assurance to other countries that India is safe for the tourists.Otherwise the economic condition of Goans will go to down side.

On 26/11 of this year another terror attack made in mumbai. Open gunfire done by terrorists claimed hundreds of deaths including security personnel's. Electronic media improved there T.R.P ratio by providing live coverage. In another word I would say people including me enjoyed live coverage of mumbai terror scene for three days.As expected political leaders gave their long speeches on peace. Scenario of that time was saying that lifestyle of mumbai will collapse forever.
A real salute to brave Mumbaikars. They started their routine work on very next day 27/11. Platforms of trains were full, offices were opened and life of Mumbai came to normal.Mumbaikars set example of braveness and unity to the world against terrorism. Residents of mumbai leaves home at morning with death surrounding them.
Today Terrorism developed its roots in entire world. Spreading fear amongst common people is policy of terrorist groups. Implementing high technique security will not help to clear away attacks, it needs help from common people. This booster is provided by Mumbai people by changing scenario of 26/11.My salute to fellow mumbaikars and their firmness against this evil things.

International Film Festival Of India

Bjp ruled government some years back introduced IFFI in goa.Theme of this mega event was new to goans.Mountains of discussion were made on IFFI issue at that time but first IFFI was ended on note of higher success.Thanks to the man with creative mind Mr.Manohar Parrikar(Former CM of Goa).Now people has accepted the IFFI as the part of goan culture. Every one waits for IFFI event like a annual fair(jatra).
You will find residents of Panaji gives invitations of IFFI to their relatives.

when you drive on roads towards Miramar,Donapaula you will find road shows ,stalls of typical indian snacks waiting for eaters near Kala Academy. My group enjoys the mouth watering chats and kababs on this stalls since 2004.Bunch of games waiting for kids at children's park.Common man never gives interset in happenings in multiplexes and in IFFI centre but enjoys chats ,cold drinks and returns home in happy mood with plans of next years IFFI in mind.
This years 39th IFFI ended with sad environment of MUMBAI attacks.Goenkar is now waiting for next years event.

Festival of lights(Diwali) comes to end and breeze of local fairs(jatras) flow in goan lands. Goa is well known for its religeous festival known as "Divjanchi Jatra". Divaj a set of five lamps made of terracotta ao copper,brass or silver metal. Divja fair mostly celebrated on occassion of new moon day of Kartik or on the first day of Margashirsh(HINDU MONTH).In the some part of Goa having Divaj is prestigeous symbol. On this day women lights the divaj infront of village temple and pray for long life of their husbands. Full day fast is kept mostly on this occassion.Divja are lighted at dark starts and five round are taken around the temple. Extreme care is taken to ensure continous lit of lamps for atleast hour or two.If the wick extinguish before the stipulated time it is known to be symbol of bad. Style of this occasion varies from place to place. In Nadora a beautiful village located some 15kms from Mapusa city is well known for its own style of divja celebration from other parts of Goa. Women who attends the divja ceremony has to keep strict fast throughout the day.The fast starts on sunrise and ends only after divaj celebration. One cannot taken even single drop of water during the fast. By sunset women starts gathering at Godess Mauli temple in tradittion wear with ornaments in que. Gents lights the divaj infront of godess idol and hand it over to women outside the temple. Women then take five rounds around the temple by mounting divaj on their heads with holy bands of drums in front of the que.A holy water is offered to devotees and the fast gets over. It is known that villagers requested to Godess Mauli for relaxation in fasting rules.In reply godess said that she will not change the rules but any one unable to follow it then that person is free leave the divaj. In some part newly wed couple carry divaj hopping the arrival of prosperity and happiness in their future life.

Today world is fighting against Terrorism. There is no permanant stop for such attacks is possible uptill now.When terrorism strucks it disturbs day today life of that area and mainly victims are innocent citizens.
India is always targeted mostly by terrorist. And their eyes always falls on Mumbai the central business city of India.Fellow Mumbaikar had suffered lot in the past due to terrorism. Yesterday fresh attacks made by terrorist in Mumbai late night. About hundreds of people killed and countless injured in open gun fire done by terrorists. So many familes have lost their sole bread earners. Who is responsible for this things.What was the mistake of the victims?
Even top governing body is helpless in such situation. After announcing financial aid to victims, inquiry commitee will start making investigations and results will be awaited.
Leaders will give long speeches on maintaining peace.And fresh attacks will be made on some other day, again innocents will be targeted.The cycle will be repeated in the future.

And question will still remains in victims mind that "Why are you killing us?"

In june 2007 we four friends visited Ganapatipule for second time with special purpose in our mind. My family and my friend sanjays family were expecting arrival of our first babies . I and Sanjay offered prayer in Ganesha Temple of Ganapatipule for safe delivery of our wives.At the end of the August both of us became father of a baby boys. Our wish was full filled.
In between due to financial problems and sons sickness it was not possible to visit again to Ganaptipule.My wife stood firmly behind me and we visited again on 18th of October 2008.
Located in western coast of Maharashtra. Ganapatipule is about 375kms from Mumbai,331kms from Pune,150 kms from Kolhapur and about 250 kms from Goa. If you are travelling by road then you will find right diversion at Hatkhamba(NIVALI). From Hatkhabha the distance is about 32 kms. Otherwise if you go to Ratnagiri there are ample number of buses plying to Ganapatipule
Temple of Lord Ganesha is known to be 400 years old and situated at the foot of the hill adjacent to beautiful sea shore.Idol of Ganapati is SWAYAMBHU(sprung from soil).Pilgrims walks (PRADAKSHINA) around the hill as a mark of respect. At one side of temple there is small lake. Temple is reconstructed using special Rajastani style stones and look in recent years, which now attracts thousands of tourist from India and abroad.
For staying at Ganapatipule there are cottages of MTDC as well as small hotels. Local people also offers stay at their homes by charging little less.
After returning from Ganapatipule do not forget to visit Sai Temple at Ganapatipule. Smiling Idol of Saibaba is made from white marble.After taking little break in the Sai temple make move to Ratnagiri. Your tour is incomplete if you not give visit to PAWAS. Distance from Ganapatipule to Pawas is around 38kms.In this 38kms drive you will experience natural beauty of sea shore. After reaching PAWAS things around you changes rapidly. From crowdy environment you enters in to cool silent zone of Shree Swarupanand Swami Math. Vitthal Rakhumai Temple and Swarupanand Swami's Samadhi is main attraction of PAWAS. When I was kid my grandmother always convey us tips to grow healthier life. At that time these things were seems to be funny for us. But now in todays busy life style these five secrets are ut most important.

It is known that human being is a most clever living creature on this planet earth.God has given us beautiful body and we should maintain it.

These are the five secrets of healthier life told by my grandmother.

1) We should get up early in the morning, clean the teeths and gargle properly. After that we should take a glass of luke warm water. It is beneficial to take about half lemon squeezed in a glass of luke warm water.

2) Many of the body problems are solved when we pass stool and urine normally on time to time. These activities are never obstructed and delayed.

3)When we eat we should eat little less every time than required. To keep space in stomach is always beneficial and it helps better digestion. When we take food it should be healthy and nutritious. Fried foods like burgers, chips should be avoided. Green vegetables must be involved in our day today eatings.

4) Always avoid hard work and to sleep after food. Avoid eating when you are in tension, never make discussions with others while eating. These things results to indigestion, acidity and constipation. It is always beneficial to drink small quantity of water in between your eatings.

5)Always try to keep you mind free. Tension make our body unstable which results to sickness. Tension can be reduced by performing Yoga and medication. Always give time to your family members, which will make us tension free at the end of busy schedule.

After all this beautiful body with peaceful mind is given to us by God and we are solely responsible to maintain it.

Whenever we are going through news papers you will find accidents images and news covered most of the front pages.

Why its happening ? not a single common goenkar is serius to find reasons behind this killings.

Transport ministry is taking serious measures to reduce such incidents by awareness through electronic media but fatal incident are increasing day by day.

Some years back there were some thousands of the vehicles on goan roads and now has been increased to lakhs. The life style of Goans is now changing for the fast tracks as a result high tec vehicles are purchased for high profile status symbol. But when time comes to drive such vehicles on roads we find difficult drive because of the poor quality roads. On the other side auto loan financing firms are immerged like a mushrooms, as a result people are getting easy spot money support for purchasing. Every lower middle class person can make his dream fullfilled of owing a vehicle by using finance schemes.

Todays fast life requires improved roads and here is main week point comes . We goans dont have proper roads developed. The NH 17 which runs from Polem to Patradevi needs urgent conversion to four lanes as this highway is a artery of Goa state. Major accident spots on this road should be analysed by exports and safety measures needs to be taken.

Secondly strict tests are to be taken while issuing permits and licence for vehicle riders. Only the candidates passing these strict tests should be allowed to take licence. Fast track court should be started for cases of accidents. And person responsible for the accident should be given extreme punishment.
